How to Send Invitations

Send email invitations to judges so they can easily access and participate in your contest.

Step 1: Add Judges with Email Addresses

When adding judges to your contest:

  1. Navigate to your contest dashboard
  2. Go to the Judges section
  3. Click "Add Judge" or "Add New Judge"
  4. Enter the judge's Name
  5. Enter the judge's Email address
  6. Optional: Link the judge to an entry if they also have an entry (prevents self-voting)
  7. Save the judge

Step 2: Invitations Are Sent Automatically

  • When you add a judge with an email address, an invitation is sent immediately
  • The email includes:
  • A personalized magic link for easy access
  • The contest code
  • A link to the contest landing page
  • Instructions on how to participate

Step 3: Resend Individual Invitations

If a judge didn't receive their invitation or needs it resent:

  1. Go to your contest dashboard
  2. Find the judge in the Judges list
  3. Click "Resend Invitation" icon next to their name
  4. The invitation will be sent again immediately

Step 4: Bulk Send Invitations

To send invitations to all judges:

  1. Go to your contest dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Judges section
  3. Click "Bulk Send Invitations"
  4. Invitations will be sent to all judges with email addresses

Tips

  • Judges can participate even without email invitations by using the contest code
  • Magic links provide one-click access - no need to remember codes
  • Judges can unsubscribe from emails if they no longer wish to receive notifications
  • You can add judges without email addresses - they'll need to use the contest code manually

Troubleshooting

  • Email not received?: Check spam folders, verify the email address is correct, and try resending
  • Judge can't access?: They can always use the contest code from the landing page (make sure the contest is open)
  • Need to update email?: Edit the judge's information and resend the invitation
